When you drive through the gates that open up to Bella Vista Private Resort it feels like you are entering into a completely different world. Imagine a high-end luxury estate surrounded by miles of beautiful views of the Costa Rican country side with the ocean off in the distance. Now imaging what if feels like to be in a climate that National Geographic called “The best climate in the world,” Now your starting to get it.

Our Mountaintop estate in Macacona, Costa Rica, consists of 3 houses and has a full-time staff that take care of the property and anything that our guests need. Located only an hour and 15 minutes west of San Jose, Costa Rica, Bella Vista is positioned perfectly for day trips to some of Costa Rica’s most iconic and amazing places visit such as the beaches of Manuel Antonio and Quepos, the Volcanos of Irazú, Poas, and Arenal, and several beautiful waterfalls including La Fortuna, Peace Waterfalls (Cataratas de la Paz) Blue falls, and Catarata del Toro. And it is even close to one of our Guests’ favorite place to visit – the Monkey House.

Rooms and Layout

Bella Vista Private Resort spreads over 2-and-a-half acres and consists of 3 houses with a total of 9 bedrooms (5 bedrooms in the main house, 3 bedrooms in the guest house, and 1 bedroom in the tiny house). With the 9 bedrooms and 17 beds, Bella Vista can comfortably sleep up to 24 guests.

Room 5 – 2 Bunkbeds (Can be switched out for a queen bed)
