Privacy policy
The short version: we use what you send us to answer you and plan your trip. We don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
When you fill in a form on this site (an inquiry, the trip planner, the trip builder or the playbook download), we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and trip details such as dates, group size, the occasion, the estates you're interested in and any message you write. We also note which page the form was sent from, so we know what you were reading.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your inquiry, check availability and send you a quote.
- To send the Costa Rica Group Trip Playbook or trip ideas, if you asked for them.
- To follow up about the trip you asked about. You can tell us to stop at any time.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are saved in our own database and in HubSpot, the customer relationship tool we use to keep track of inquiries. An email notification also goes to our team so someone can reply quickly. HubSpot stores data under its own privacy and security terms.
Analytics
When it's switched on, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site in aggregate: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which devices they use. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. You can block them in your browser or with Google's opt-out add-on, and the site will work the same.
What we don't do
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We don't share it with anyone outside our family's businesses and the tools named above, except when the law requires it.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning trips. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Removing your information
Email hello@bellavistacostarica.com and ask us to delete your details or stop contacting you. We'll do it and confirm by reply. You can also reach us at +1 (602) 430-2232.
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page.
